Talent without hardwork is going to be redundant. While talent when harmonised well together with hardwork produces great success.

By being creative, by developing and honing your skills, by reheasing, by practicing, by studying and learning more and by exercising your skills repeatedly or regularly in order to improve your proficiency. Be patient! Give your dreams enough time. Don't abandon your dreams because of the time it'll take to start giving you success. Set your eyes on the goals and not the time it'll take. Many people have given up on their dreams because of the time it'll take to start achieving success. They are not patient. They have failed to know that it takes time for important and valuable dream to bring great success. Genesis 29:20 NKJV says "So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her."

Resolve to keep pursuing your dream passionately. Decide to keep sharpening your skills and waiting for opportunity to come at the appropriate time. The time you're most prepared to showcase your talent to the world with hunger for success. Know that you can only be hopeful on what you've started and not what you are visualising. People that give excuses about pursuing their dreams because of the time it'll take to start giving back are the ones that end up not doing anything at all. Surround yourself with positive people. Decide firmly to surround yourself with people that make you grow. If you've decided to achieve great success in life, the kind of people you surround yourself with matters. If you surround yourself with people that are negative, I bet you're going to be negative. Resolve to surround yourself with people that have found a reason to live. People that have made up their mind to live up to their potential in life. Surround yourself with people that don't procrastinate on living their dreams. Surround yourself with people that are not afraid to make mistakes in a bid to surpass themselves. Surround yourself with people that do not doubt their capability. Surround yourself with bold and courageous people. Dream killers are many out there looking for people to stop from pursuing their dreams. Don't give them chance to turn you to what they have turned themselves into. Flee from them and run after a successful life. Proverbs 13:20 NKJV says "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed."

Discover Your Talent And Start To Live Your Dreams In Life.

Make use of this opportunity to discover your talent early and start living your dreams in life. Only if I had come across an article like this when I was younger, I would have discovered my talent earlier and gone farther in pursuit of my dreams.

Hear this short story of mine. I remember back then in the late 90s when I took up a job to work as a classroom teacher in two different schools immediately after my high school. At the first school, I was assigned to take a nursery class with pupils between the ages of 3 and 5 which I took with joy and during the end of the year party my students came out as the best students in the school with their performance in singing, poem reciting, acting and fluency in English language. At the second school, I was in charge of basic class with pupils getting ready to write an entrance exams into high schools. It was a thing of joy for me to know that 98% of the students did exceptionally well in the exams and I was praised for my achievements.
What was the secret? The secret is, I was able to study the pupils, made them overcome their fears, made them love the subjects they hated, made them develop more interest for the ones they loved and made them believe they could be the best among their peers. I also went out of lesson book to teach them what they needed to know which was not included in the curriculum. I was also very friendly with them though appeared tough whenever they wanted to abuse the opportunity. 

Here is what I am trying to pass across! In all the times I spent at both schools, I was doing all these things not even knowing I was making use of my talents in motivating, coaching, and teaching. I didn't have anyone to say to me Tunji, that is your talent. I didn't have a mentor to also tell me I could become a good writer when I came FIRST in a national essay writing competition tagged 'Children In Agricultural Programme (CIAP '99)' 

I would say that the youths of nowadays are lucky and opportuned to read articles, watch videos and also listen to audios on how to discover their talents and start living up to their potential. 

Reading this, I hope you've gained something and you will make use of the opportunity by digging deep inside of you to discover what you love to do naturally and start using it to influence other people positively.
